All of our care staff undergo an Induction Course that includes:

 

• Health and Safety
• Company Policies & Procedures
• Infection Control
• Incontinence, Catheter & Stoma Care
• Record-Keeping & End-of-Shift
• Reporting

 

 

We offer the QCF Diploma in Health & Social Care (Levels 2 & 3) through our partner training provider. In addition all staff are given training in:

 

• Load Management & People Handling in a Care Environment
• Food Hygiene
• Emergency Responses / Heartstart
• Safeguarding Of Vulnerable Adults / Children.

Specialist Training is offered to staff members where this is required or recommended, for example:

 

• Management of Aggression and Physical Intervention
• Autism and Asperges Awareness
• Administration of Medication
• Sign-Along &/or Makaton Signing Techniques
• Dementia Awareness

 

We are also able to offer a wide range of training courses to cater for individuals and establishments via our sister company Basis Training (UK) Ltd. Our dedicated training venue is situated near Victoria Park in Cardiff with easy access to public transport.
